The Charlemagne
The Charlemagne is the largest of all factions. It was formed in 1589 after the Charlemagne Alternative was proposed. It became the epitome of all factions with the most advanced technologies and the largest boom in population. Since their civilization was more advanced, they were much more able to defend themselves during the war, and they maintained their city.
The Charlemagne are considered the supreme rulers, and though the other factions may have petty wars, none dare to openly challenge the Charlemagne, at least not on their own. The Charlemagne usually dictate what a faction can or cannot do. They are only challenged by the Holy Fallen Empire. They are under orders only from the Stratorium Academy.
The Charlemagne is a female dominated faction, though noble men are treated better than citizens because of their social standing. The Faction is run by the Queen and her successor is titled as Heir. A Queen may not be challenged to duel for the throne, but once she is dead, her Heir may be openly challenged for the right to the throne. A man may never take the throne.
Women are encouraged to enter the military despite noble status. Even certain poverty stricken ones are allowed. Men are always sent to be soldiers. The work force is equally balanced enough just so that the foundations do not cripple the rest of the faction.
