Women
Women are the supreme and dominant sex of society. They are wiser and more adequate at running government and the factions in general. Women are accredited as sly, ambitious, and ruthless to a fault. They make up the majority of the high standings in society.
Women were left to run the world and they quickly took it over. They are referred to as "lady" by all men and come first in all circumstances.
By women, men are viewed as soldiers or for procreation. Seldom will a woman ever fall in love with a man, and there is no such thing as a woman "hoping one day a man will sweep them off their feet" or even "getting married and settling down to raise a family".
Young girls are sent to the academy where they learn politics, strategy, combat, military protocols, military history, and other such useful subjects. They are then put into different roles concerning their abilities when they have graduated. The nobility are reared to lead the country while those in military are prepped to become captains and generals. Some others attain noble professions through wealth and influence.
The Nobility will eventually lead the factions once the current leader has passed or retired. Otherwise, they remain to influence and achieve what is best for their faction at any costs. They usually have guards to keep them from the dangers of enemy faction assassins. There are male nobility, but they are still considered inferior to the female nobility.
Captains and Generals direct combat either from afar or on the field at certain distances. Some of the braver ones will actually rush out to meet the enemy on the frontlines though this isn't encouraged. Most will fight for factions. Rarely will they ever be at Maeter Purge, though at least two generals are there at all times.
